Hey Kids, welcome to the Ear Nose Throat and Snoring Centre. We hope that you have a good time at our clinic. We thought that we would take you for a tour of our clinic before you arrive so that you know what to expect.

Mummy and Daddy have made an appointment for you to see Dr Adrian Saurajen. Most kids call him Dr A. He is like a big teddy bear and he loves children. Dr A is an ENT surgeon who sees both adults and little children.

Well, lets start the tour. When you come into the clinic, you can play in the kiddies corner. There are lots of toys to play with, paper to draw on and little books or comics to read.

When your appointment time is due, Dr A will bring you into the room. At first when you look inside, it may look a little scary with all the shiny equipment but don't worry, because none of it is painful.

Don't tell your mummies or your dentist this but Dr A will normally give all the good boys and girls a little sweetie when you first go in. He will then talk to mummy and daddy and then talk to you.

He will look at you with his funny light, then with his funny little ear light. Sometimes he may put in an ice cream stick into your mouth..but this ice cream stick does not have any ice cream on it.

He may also sometimes use a bright light called a microscope where he can look at your ear and sometimes even remove the wax or other dirty things from your ear. Dr A may sometimes finish up the examination by putting a little "shoe lace" camera into your nose.

For some children, this is the first time that they are on TV..its so exciting and you can see inside your nose and throat. After this, Dr A will write up some medication for you and then you can go home.see its so much fun isn't it?
